HOLMEN, Wis. (AP) -- La Crosse County sheriff's officials say the driver who died in a rollover crash that also killed a passenger was intoxicated.
The single-vehicle crash on county Highway XX in the town of Holland was discovered about 6 a.m. Thursday.
Authorities Friday identified the driver as Ethan Anderson and said he had a blood alcohol content of .21. The passenger was identified as Samuel Haug, who was also intoxicated. Both were 21 years old and from Holmen.
Investigators say Anderson was driving at a high rate of speed, lost control and rolled in a field, ejecting Haug.
