Packers ask fans to allow time for screening

GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) -- Packers fans who are going to this afternoon's game against San Francisco are reminded to arrive early, because it might take extra time to get into the stadium.

Fans are screened at the entrances at every game as per an NFL safety policy. But with forecasts calling for subzero temperatures Sunday, it might take longer to screen fans dressed in layers and heavier clothing.

The team also reminds fans that blankets and unzipped sleeping bags can be carried in but they have to be carried loosely.

Cameras are allowed but they have be kept in a clear bag, not in a camera case.

The game starts at 3:40 p.m. Central time. The parking lots open four hours prior to kickoff.
