MILWAUKEE (WITI) — Green Bay Packers tight end Jermichael Finley speaks plainly about the injury he suffered during a game against the Cleveland Browns in a first-person account. It’s featured on The MMQB with Peter King, a Sports Illustrated website.

In the article, Finley talks about laying on the ground after he took the hit in the fourth quarter of that Browns game. He says, “The scariest moment was seeing the fear in Q’s (Andrew Quarless) eyes. I knew something was wrong, but his reaction verified it. That really shook me up.”

Finley says in the article that he plans to plan football again. He said, “That is what I love to do. I’ll do everything in my power to get back to the player I have been, and improve into the player I know I can be.”

GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) -- Packers tight end Jermichael Finley has tweeted that he left the intensive care unit and had full feeling in his arms and legs after injuring his neck in a game.

Finley posted Monday night on Twitter that he was able to walk to and from the shower. He thanked family, friends, teammates and fans for an outpouring of support.

Coach Mike McCarthy has said Finley's injury is significant, and that more tests are needed to determine the severity. Finley was hurt in the fourth quarter of a 31-13 win over the Browns on Sunday after getting hit by Cleveland safety Tashaun Gipson.

Finley wrote on Twitter: "Thank u again 4 the support, and Go Packers!"

ESPN reports that Packers tight end Jermichael Finley has regained almost all movement.

ESPN says that a source tells them tests have come back negative so far, but more tests are scheduled.

ESPN reported that Finley was in the intensive care unit at a hospital Monday after suffering a neck injury during Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns.

ESPN is reporting Packers tight end Jermichael Finley is in the intensive care until after he sustained a neck injury during Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Browns.

The report says Finley has not undergone surgery as of Monday morning and his status is uncertain.

TE Jermichael Finley suffered a neck injury in the 4th quarter after being hit by Tashaun Gipson. Finley was carted off the field on a stretcher but was reported to have feeling in all his extremities.
