HURLEY, Wis. (AP) — Police in the northern Wisconsin town of Hurley shot and killed an 85-year-old-man who they say had multiple firearms in his possession. The Hurley Police Department says officers responded about 8:30 yesterday morning to a report of a man with a gun at an apartment complex. It says the man retreated to his apartment and police called in the SWAT Team. Police didn't release other details of the shooting.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Governor Scott Walker will tour flood damage in the city of Superior. Walker's office said yesterday that the governor will travel to the area on Tuesday morning to view damage from flooding that occurred on June 19th and 20th after heavy rains. Walker has spoken by phone to Superior Mayor Bruce Hagen about storm damage in the city.

THOMSON, Minn. (AP) — The U.S. Coast Guard is using resources from around the Great Lakes to help rescue flooding victims in Minnesota. Coast Guard Lieutenant Adam Saurin in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan says the agency used an airboat from Duluth, Minnesota and another from Bayfield, Wisconsin to rescue 12 people from Duluth's Fond du Lac neighborhood.

DETROIT (AP) — A Detroit-area pizza chain is launching a new line of Great Lakes-themed pizzas to help support environmental efforts in the region. Buddy's Pizza announced yesterday that $1 from each pie sold from its Made in Michigan Great Lakes Pizza Collection will be donated to the Alliance for the Great Lakes, a Chicago-based environmental group.
