CALEDONIA, Wis. (AP) -- Police in Caledonia say the driver of a semi-trailer died after a crash where a driver pulled in front of him, causing his truck to roll into a ditch.
The Journal Times of Racine reports Sunday that the Caledonia Police Department identified the driver as 45-year-old Jonathan W. Schweiss of Menomonee Falls. The accident happened on Saturday afternoon when a Milwaukee woman pulled out in front of the truck.
Police say Schweiss was alert after the accident and was airlifted to a hospital but died a short while later. The driver of the car was hospitalized with a laceration to her head.
