MADISON, Wis. (AP) — President Barack Obama is making another stop in Wisconsin, this time on Thursday. He was in Milwaukee on September 22nd. He's making the appearance in Madison the night after the first presidential debate with Republican challenger Mitt Romney at the University of Denver and a campaign event in Denver.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Governor Scott Walker plans to attend a farewell ceremony for a group of Wisconsin Army National Guard soldiers headed to Afghanistan. Sixteen soldiers from the newly formed 104th Security Force Advise and Assist team are set to depart tomorrow for a one-year mission mentoring Afghan border police. The farewell ceremony is set for 8 a.m. Monday at the Wisconsin National Guard's Madison headquarters.

OAK CREEK, Wis. (AP) — There's a new memorial in Oak Creek honoring the victims of the Sikh temple shooting. High School social worker David Timmer organized the planting yesterday of prairie flowers in the garden in front of the school. Altogether six people died and four were wounded in the deadly rampage.

LA CROSSE, Wis. (AP) — Friends have established a reward fund in the killing of a man and son inside a La Crosse photography store. Fifty-six-year-old Paul Petras and 19-year-old A.J. Petras were shot to death September 15th inside May's Photo.
