Here is the latest Wisconsin news from The Associated Press:

BELOIT, Wis. (AP) — A fire truck collided with a tractor that turned into its path on the way to a fire in the Town of Beloit. The Rock County Sheriff's Office says the chief of the town's fire department was driving the Dodge Durango fire truck to a house fire Friday afternoon when he encountered a slow-moving tractor driven by a 35-year-old Orfordville man. The fire chief was treated and released from a hospital.

HURLEY, Wis. (AP) — The police chief in the small northern Wisconsin town of Hurley has released the name of an 85-year-old man fatally shot by a SWAT team in his apartment. Leo Driscoll of Hurley was killed in the Friday morning shooting. Police Chief Dan Erspamer said yesterday that the shooting is under investigation by the sheriff's department in nearby Vilas County.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin's economic development agency offered tax breaks to a Stevens Point company contingent upon it winning a state contract in late March. That decision came nearly three months before the offer was rescinded after Governor Scott Walker's administration said it was inappropriate. A letter released to The Associated Press shows Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation Chief Executive Officer Paul Jadin let information systems company Skyward know on March 22nd that it would receive tax incentives if it won the contract.

DAYTON, Ohio (AP) — Ohio is stepping up its boating patrols with a focus on impaired boaters after tying for third nationally in alcohol-related boating accidents last year. The U.S. Coast Guard says Ohio tied with Illinois and trailed only Florida and Wisconsin last year.
