PRESCOTT, Wis. (AP) -- The searched continues for a Minnesota man who likely drowned in the St. Croix River in Prescott.

Pierce County Sheriff Nancy Hove says 65-year-old Merriett Maul, of Welch, Minn., fell off a dock about 8:15 p.m. Tuesday. The St. Paul Pioneer Press reports Maul was docking his boat with his wife and friends when he fell between the boat and the dock.

Divers used sonar equipment to try to find Maul, but have been unsuccessful so far.
