MILWAUKEE (AP) -- A Milwaukee woman who's accused of killing a pregnant woman and trying to steal her full-term fetus is expected in court today for a final pretrial hearing. Annette Morales-Rodriguez has pleaded insanity to two counts of first-degree intentional homicide.
MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- A new U.S. Census Bureau report says income's up slightly in Wisconsin, but rates of poverty and the uninsured also climbed. The median household income in Wisconsin was about $52,000 last year. About 13 percent of people in Wisconsin were living in poverty.
MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Star gazers shave a few more chances to admire the night sky from Wisconsin state parks this fall through the University of Wisconsin-Madison's Universe in the Park program. Campers will be able to listen to lectures by astronomy experts and gaze through telescopes. The effort runs through October.
