MILWAUKEE (AP) -- A Milwaukee group that works with veterans is getting $500,000 in federal grants. The Center for Veterans Issues says it will use the money from the U.S. Department of Labor to help homeless veterans ease their way back into the workforce.

BELOIT, Wis. (AP) -- A longtime Beloit College anthropology professor died this week on a research trip to South America. Dan Shea died Tuesday after taking a fall in Chile.

PARK FALLS, Wis. (AP) -- Wisconsin wildlife officials say the state had as many as 880 wolves at the end of winter, up slightly from the year before. The largest wolf pack in the state is a group of 10 wolves that roam Fort McCoy in Monroe County.

SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (AP) -- The John Michael Kohler Arts Center is hosting the first-ever museum exhibit of dozens of pictures curated from the popular website awkwardfamilyphotos.com. Visitors to the Sheboygan museum will also be able to share their own family photos and stories for a chance to win prizes. The exhibit runs through late October.
