MILWAUKEE (AP) -- A Milwaukee County judge whose son has been charged with homicide has decided to retire. In a letter to Governor Scott Walker, Judge Thomas Donegan says his retirement would be effective at the end of November. Thirty-one-year-old James Donegan is accused of strangling and stabbing Teresa Boone in a Milwaukee park earlier this month.

TOWN OF SAUKVILLE, Wis. (AP) -- Two people are dead following a car crash in Ozaukee County. The driver of the car was injured in last night's crash. The wreck took place at an intersection near the Hawthorne Hills Golf Course in the Town of Saukville.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources officials are reminding residents that they will take deer observations for another three weeks. The Operation Deer Watch survey began on August 1st and runs through September 30th. The DNR hopes to use the survey to track deer reproduction.

WISCONSIN RAPIDS, Wis. (AP) -- Cash bond has been set at $5 million for a man suspected of killing his former girlfriend. Marshfield police say 20-year-old Gabriel Campos is a suspect in the death of 18-year-old Maisie McCullough. The couple's two-year-old son was with Campos when he turned himself into authorities last weekend.
