Posted Tuesday, November 13, 2012 --- 8:45 a.m.

Here is the latest Wisconsin news from The Associated Press:

MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Paul Ryan says he has no regrets about his role in the presidential campaign. The Wisconsin congressman tells WTMJ-TV that the campaign did not foresee the increased turnout by Democratic voters. Ryan held on to his congressional seat in last week's election.

COLUMBUS, Wis. (AP) -- Authorities are investigating the cause of a small explosion and fire at American Packaging in Columbus. Workers were evacuated from the building after yesterday's fire and all employees have been accounted for. Officials say a sprinkler system helped contain the fire to the room where it started.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- A Burlington state representative is expected to become the next speaker of Wisconsin's Assembly when Republican lawmakers meet today to elect their leaders. No one has announced plans to challenge Robin Vos for the position.

KENOSHA, Wis. (AP) -- Miss America will make an appearance in her hometown of Kenosha later this month to sing at a tree-lighting ceremony. Laura Kaeppeler will perform several songs on November 23rd.
