FOND DU LAC, Wis. (AP) -- Two people were killed and two others were injured when a suspected drunken driver crossed the center line of a Fond du Lac County highway.
Fond du Lac County Sheriff's Capt. Dean Will says a man and a woman were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash on Highway 45 just north of the Washington County line Thursday evening. A 10-year-old girl in their car was seriously injured and taken to Children's Hospital in metro Milwaukee.
The 24-year-old Campbellsport man who crossed the center line was treated at a West Bend hospital and questioned by deputies. Will tells WFDL radio (http://tinyurl.com/94t4gbg ) alcohol was "definitely a factor" in the crash.
