PRESCOTT, Wis. (AP) -- A man and woman from Minnesota have died in a head-on highway crash in western Wisconsin. Two others were injured.
Authorities say a car driven by a 72-year-old man collided with a minivan on Highway 35 near Prescott about 4:30 p.m. Sunday. The man and his 71-year-old female passenger, both of Stillwater, were killed.
The Wisconsin State Patrol says a 51-year-old Prescott man driving the minivan and his female passenger were injured and taken to area hospitals. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. The crash remains under investigation.
The St. Paul Pioneer Press (http://bit.ly/JJzPXA ) says the victims have not been identified.
