Victim Of Fatal Neenah Foundry Accident Identified

NEENAH, Wis. (AP) -- The man killed at Neenah Foundry Co. has been identified as a longtime employee.
The Winnebago County coroner says the victim is 58-year-old Paul Merkley of Neenah. The company says the employee died as a result of a mechanical failure at the plant Sunday, but wasn't more specific.
Coroner Barry Busby tells the Appleton Post-Crescent (http://post.cr/KZ32PV ) that Merkley was pronounced dead at the scene and that there doesn't appear to be any foul play involved.
