WAUSAU, Wis. (AP) -- Mountain biking enthusiasts in Wisconsin have built a trail system for fat-tired bicycles that can be ridden in the snow.

Daily Herald Media reports the trails in Wausau will be used for the first snow bike race included in the Badger State Games. The games will be held Jan. 18.

The trails built by volunteers with the Central Wisconsin Offroad Cycling Coalition cover seven miles in the 300-acre Sunny Vale Park. Coalition President Gary Barden says interest in snow biking has been growing, creating a need for a place to ride.
