APPLETON, Wis. (AP) -- An Appleton man who was convicted of stealing more than $20,000 from a youth baseball league has been sentenced to two months in jail.

A WLUK-TV report says Rodney K. Schreiber Jr. apologized for his actions when he was sentenced Friday. He said he took the money because of a gambling addiction, and there's no doubt that what he did was wrong.

Schreiber was convicted of felony theft. Prosecutors say the 41-year-old withdrew nearly $14,000 from the league account using mostly casino ATMs. He also allegedly used league money to buy a computer without permission.
