WATERLOO, Wis. (AP) -- Wisconsin based Trek-Bicycle Corp. is dropping its support of cyclist Lance Armstrong.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports (http://bit.ly/V9Lnus ) Trek joined Nike and Anheuser-Busch is severing their relationships with Armstrong.

The Waterloo-based company had voiced its support for Armstrong in August, praising him for his "remarkable contributions to the sport of cycling and the fight against cancer."

In its announcement Wednesday, officials said they were disappointed by the conclusion by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency, which last week released evidence of drug use by the seven-time Tour de France winner.

Trek says it will continue to support his cancer-fighting charity Livestrong Foundation, from which Armstrong also stepped down.

Armstrong has denied doping.
