MILWAUKEE (AP) -- An 18-year-old Milwaukee man was sentenced to life in prison yesterday for last year's death of a 15-year-old girl. Eduardo Ivanez won't be eligible for parole until he's 70

MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- A Madison woman will have to spend about 18 months in prison for killing a man on a mo-ped while driving the wrong way on a frontage road. Ekaterina Topolkaraeva (toh-pol-kah-RAY'-vah) pleaded guilty to homicide by negligent driving and drunken driving.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Republican Governor Scott Walker says he'll push to cut income taxes. Walker says he'll include what he called a significant income tax cut in his spending plan, although he didn't offer further details.

SAUK CITY, Wis. (AP) -- Bald eagle lovers are being invited to southern Wisconsin next week to watch the birds in their natural habitat. The events next Friday and Saturday will be held in Sauk City and Prairie du Sac.
