Wisconsin DNR To Hold Online Chat For Would-Be Wardens

Posted Thursday, July 12, 2012 --- 7:30 a.m.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- The state Department of Natural Resources plans to hold an online chat next week for would-be wardens.

DNR Law Enforcement Bureau Assistant Training Director Jeff King will be online Monday from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. He'll answer questions about being a warden.

People can log on to the chat through the warden recruitment chat link on the DNR's home page.

The DNR is looking to hire a new class of wardens as it grapples with nearly 40 retirements. The agency hopes to hire up to 15 wardens by March.

wondering what it means when a deer has a distinctive odor like pine and nuts combine. In any case is it something to be worried about.
