Wisconsin Loses 4,300 Private Sector Jobs In March

Posted Thursday, April 19, 2012 --- 12:30 p.m.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Wisconsin lost 4,300 private sector jobs in March, a bad report for Gov. Scott Walker as he nears a June 5 recall election.

The latest totals were reported Thursday by the state Department of Workforce Development.

Despite the one-month drop in March, Wisconsin has added 15,600 private sector jobs this year.

Walker is still far off pace for delivering on his promise to create 250,000 new private-sector positions by the end of his first term. The state has added just 5,900 private sector jobs through March compared with before Walker took office in January 2011.

The state's unemployment rate for March dropped slightly from 6.9 percent to 6.8 percent.

Unemployment rate is down, budget is balanced and old debts created by the previous administration are paid off......yep you fools are right Walker is not doing a thing. Simple math people, budget deficits can be fixed with higher taxes or less spending. Walker chose to cut taxes and NOT have massive layoffs for public workers. Try thanking him vs. recalling. In the private sector (the real world) if companies ran their busienss like Doyle ran the state there would be mass layoffs and something called Chapter 11 in their future. Walker is effective, deal with it.

‎1 year ago Wisconsin’s unemployment rate was 7.6%, now it’s 6.8%. Lowest since 2008. Gov Walker's got us on the right track...

to all of those people who thought the Gov's attack on public workers would effect them...this is proof positive that his policies are hurting everyone and WILL CONTINUE to hurt EVERYONE unless he is recalled.
