Wisconsin School Evacuated After Gym Fire

SIREN, Wis. (AP) -- Siren High School in western Wisconsin has been safely evacuated after a fire in a gymnasium.

Burnett County sheriff's deputies say the fire call came in around 10:50 a.m. Tuesday. Siren firefighters were getting help from several other departments.

The Burnett County emergency manager tells WEAU-TV (http://bit.ly/LcmVik ) students were quickly evacuated and then sent home.

No one was hurt.

Investigators have not determined a cause. It was unclear if school would be held Wednesday.
