Lake Hallie police say a handcuffed woman escaped from a squad car by squeezing through a partially opened window.
A criminal complaint filed against Jaime M. Schultz says she also eventually slipped off her handcuffs.
Police say the 30-year-old Chippewa Falls woman was arrested after they responded to a domestic dispute call.
The call last month said there was a fight between a man and a woman and Schultz scratched the man's neck.
The complaint says Schultz was arrested and put into the squad car. The rear passenger window was left open 3-inches for air while the officer took down more information.
She was later found outside the car, without her handcuffs or shoes.
When the officer was gone, the complaint says she got the window down
The complaint says the window was out of its track and bent.
She's now charged with felony escape, misdemeanor battery-domestic abuse, criminal damage to the squad car and disorderly conduct-domestic abuse.
