MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Trick-or-treaters will get a chance to tour a historical mansion in southwestern Wisconsin next month.

The Villa Louis mansion will offer trick-or-treating from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 27. Costumed interpreters will hand out treats and historical facts. The cost is $5 per family.

The Prairie du Chien mansion is the centerpiece of a grand Victorian estate built by fur trader Hercules Dousman's family. The building has just gone through an extensive restoration.
