STOLEN CAR-11-YEAR-OLD

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) -- Police say the car thief couldn't see over the steering wheel. Officers in Albuquerque, New Mexico, were shocked to find a so-called bait car had snagged an 11-year-old boy. KOB-TV reports a police video shows the kid stealing the car. Then, police say the junior car thief stopped to pick up his 10-year-old friends. Authorities say the kids now face charges in juvenile court.

BREASTAURANT BOOM

UNDATED (AP) -- "Breastaurants" are big business -- and getting even bigger. They're chains that offer a view in the Hooters tradition. Twin Peaks has its waitresses wearing skimpy plaid tops. But owner Randy DeWitt says their draw is hearty food and making customers feel special. The Tilted Kilt Pub and Eatery has a Celtic theme. Its waitresses wear matching tartan mini-skirts and bras. Rose Dimov, a 22-year-old waitress at the Tilted Kilt, doesn't mind flaunting her assets. Dimov says she's an entertainer, not just a server.

COOKIE DOUGH

NORMAL, Ill. (AP) -- Julia Schmid knows cookie dough is a guilty pleasure. Now, she's making dough that's meant for eating not baking. Ingredients like sugar, flour and butter go into the Cookie Dough Cafe brand. All of it can be eaten raw. Schmid and her sister produce five flavors including Chocolate Chip. The cookie dough is sold in the Fresh Market of Normal, Illinois. Schmid tells a local paper (Bloomington Pantagraph) one customer likes their cookie dough so much, they want it sold in gallon buckets.

FARM CAMP

FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) -- You think camp is all about canoeing, swimming or arts and crafts on a rainy day? How about feeding the pigs or gathering eggs? Farm camps are growing in popularity. City and suburban kids learn there's more to food than just fast food. Homestead Farms has a day camp north of Fort Worth, Texas. Sarah Farris and her husband Michael welcome kids 2-12 to their farm. She tells a local paper (Star-Telegram) kids need to know how their food gets to the table.

UKULELE AFICIONADO

SHUTESBURY, Mass. (AP) -- Sometimes there just isn't room for the guitar. That's what Julie Stepanek discovered four years ago when she and her family went on vacation. So, the Massachusetts mom decided to pick up a smaller instrument for sing-alongs, a ukulele. Now, she's a uke evangelist. Stepanek tells the Daily Hampshire Gazette a uke is a great way to get kids interested music, because the small size makes it easier to play. It's also easier to pack.

BOATSIDE DELIVERY

NORWALK, Conn. (AP) -- Connecticut deli owner Clyde Ripka is going nautical. He has a 20-foot boat and serves fellow boaters on Long Island Sound. The food is prepared ashore at the Bull's Head Market kitchen in Norwalk. Then the burgers, hot dogs, ice cream and other treats are loaded onto the boat, which is crewed by a couple of teens. He says the young guy and gal who sell his sandwiches are like rock stars on the water. Ripka tells a local paper (The Hour) some of his customers even use their marine radios to call in their orders.
