MAN GETS LITTER CHARGE AFTER DONATION TO PANHANDLER FALLS TO GROUND

CLEVELAND (AP) -- A man has gotten a ticket for littering because the dollar bills he gave to a panhandler fell on the ground. Police say John Davis reached out of his car at a busy intersection to donate to the panhandler. They say it's illegal to give money at the side of a road. WJW-TV reports that Davis could've been ticketed for donating to a panhandler, but he was cited for a potentially more expensive violation of littering. His ticket cost $344. Davis is fighting it.

COUPLE GETS WEDDING PHOTO TAKEN IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD

TORONTO (AP) -- As the Beatles once sang, "Why don't we do it in the road?" Two newlyweds took the song to heart and decided to have their wedding photo taken in the middle of a busy intersection in Toronto. They waited for the light to turn red and then they had 24 seconds to drag a love seat into the road, sit down and pose. They did it and no one was hurt.

WAITER WITH BUM CAR GETS $5,000 TIP

HOUSTON (AP) -- It wasn't great service that earned Greg Rubar a $5,000 tip on a $27 lunch bill. It's just that word had spread that his car was ruined in a recent storm. Rubar had worked a D'Amicos Italian Market Cafe for 16 years. He's been taking the bus to work. Two customers heard about it and left the five grand on his table after they had lunch. Rubar says he's humbled by it. He plans to spend the money on a car.

BIRD WITH THREE BEAKS AND TWO HEADS

NORTHAMPTON, Mass. (AP) -- Two heads are not always better than one. A woman in Northampton, Massachusetts found a baby cardinal with two heads and three beaks. April Britt tells the Daily Hampshire Gazette the middle beak didn't work well and the other two didn't appear to be connected to the bird's throat. A scientist says birds with such abnormalities don't usually survive birth. The woman managed to take pictures of it before the baby and the adult birds in the nest disappeared.

ONE TACO SHORT, DRIVES CAR INTO TACO BELL

HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio (AP) -- A customer found he was one taco short on his order, so police say he rammed his truck into the glass entrance to a Taco Bell. Michael D. Smith argued with employees before hitting the building with his truck. Police caught him after they followed leaking fluid from the truck to Smith's house a few miles away. They charged him with vandalism. Smith told police he accidentally hit the Taco Bell when he lost control of his truck.

PIG WITH A SCARF ON THE LOOSE

PITTSBURGH (AP) -- A pig is on the loose outside of Pittsburgh. Not just any pig. But a pig wearing a scarf. Motorists spotted it loose on the highway. Police tried to catch it, but it ran off into the woods.
