MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Wisconsin child cares and kindergartens better brace for an onslaught of Avas and Ethans in coming years.

For the third year in a row, Ava was the most popular girls name and Ethan was tops for boys. The state Department of Health Services released its annual report Friday that includes the most popular names given babies born in 2008.

Olivia and Emma were the next popular for girls, while for boys it was Mason and Jacob.

There was only one new girl name and three new boy names in the top 10 compared to last year.

Grace replaced Elizabeth as 10th most popular. Aiden, Gavin and William all made the list for boys, knocking off Jack, Owen and Tyler.

All of the girl names, except for Grace and Sophia, began with a vowel.
