Frequently Asked Questions
Q. What is an acrylic bathtub liner?
A. It is a brand new tub custom molded from a sheet of 1/4" DR/ABS co-extruded acrylic to fit
right over your old cast iron or steel tub, without tearing up your existing plumbing or surrounding
walls.
Q. How long will an acrylic liner last?
A. They have a life expectancy of 25-30 years. Acrylic liners have been used in North America
since the late 1970's and much longer than that in Europe.
Q. What colors are available?
A. Tubs are available in white, biscuit, almond and gray. The walls come in the same solid colors as well as
simulated tile, marble and granite.
Q. How long does it take?
A. We are generally in and out in one day for a new bathtub and wall. If you only need or want a tub, they can
be installed in 2-4 hours. Another great advantage is they can be used that same day.
Q. Will it make my bath area smaller?
A. It's like fitting one paper cup inside another. What you lose at the bottom, you gain at the top.
Q. How do I clean It?
A. The liners can be cleaned with a mild liquid soap, such as hand soap or dishwashing
liquid. |
