CHESTERTON, Ind. (AP) -- Indiana authorities say they plan to resume their search for the body of a 13-year-old Chicago boy who presumably drowned while swimming with family and friends at a Lake Michigan beach where no lifeguards were on duty.

Raphael Palomar was last seen early Saturday afternoon, when he and his younger brother were swimming in 3-foot to 5-foot waves in the waters off Porter Beach, near Indiana Dunes State Park.

Conservation Officer Gene Davis of the Indiana Department of Natural Resources says bystanders pulled the 10-year-old from the water, but they were unable to reach the older boy.

Heavy rip currents were reported at the time, so divers were unable to begin searching until Sunday.

Davis says the search will resume Monday morning.
