Five Badgers scored in double-figures against Arkansas, led by a career-best 19 points from freshman Sam Dekker as the Badgers defeat the Razorbacks 77-70 in the Las Vegas Invitational.
Wisconsin overcame an 11-point halftime deficit by starting the second half on a 16-5 run. UW also went 18-for-23 (.783) from the free throw stripe in the second half, while shooting 6-for-10 (.600) from beyond the arc.
Senior Ryan Evans finished with 12 points, adding 7 rebounds and a pair of assists. Evans has scored in double-figures 35 times in his career.
Senior Mike Bruesewitz and sophomore Traevon Jackson finished with 11 points apiece. The duo combined to go 14-for-17 (.824) from the free throw line in the win.
Senior Jared Berggren flirted with his first career double-double, tallying 10 points and 9 rebounds. Berggren also added 4 blocks and 3 assists.
