MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin football team will face both Big Ten conference newcomers, Maryland and Rutgers, in back-to-back weeks in their first seasons in the league. Both of those games will start at 11 a.m. CT, the Big Ten announced on Tuesday. Television designations will be determined either 12 days or six days before the game.
The Badgers host Maryland on Oct. 25 at Camp Randall Stadium in the 107th Homecoming game in UW history. The Badgers hold a 55-46-5 mark in Homecoming games. It will be the first meeting between Wisconsin and the Terrapins.
The following week, on Nov. 1, the Badgers will make their first trip to Rutgers for their inaugural meeting with the Scarlet Knights. The game will also be Rutgers’ Homecoming game.
The only other game time that has been announced for Wisconsin’s 2014 schedule is the season opener vs. LSU at the AdvoCare Texas Kickoff at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas. That game will start at 8 p.m. CT on ESPN.
