MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Mark Zengerle had a goal and two assists to lead Wisconsin to a 4-0 win over Alaska-Anchorage on Friday in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association.
Zengerle, whose 20-game scoring streak was snapped last weekend, came back to get the Badgers' first goal at 9:04 of the first period. He assisted on goals by Frankie Simonelli and Jake McCabe in the second as Wisconsin (11-10-2, 6-9-2) went up 3-0.
Justin Schultz added a goal and two assists for three points and Joseph LaBate added two assists for Wisconsin.
Goalie Joel Rumpel made 23 saves while notching his second shutout for the Badgers.
Alaska-Anchorage (6-13-2, 3-13-1) had only four shots on goal in the first period.
Chris Kamal made 18 stops for the Seawolves, who haven't won in Madison since 2005. They are 1-6-1 in their last eight games.
