MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Joseph LaBate's goal late in the third period lifted Wisconsin to a 3-2 win over Alaska-Anchorage on Saturday and a sweep of their Western Collegiate Hockey Association series.
LaBate scored the only goal of the third period, He also assisted on one of the Badgers' two second-period goals. Tyler Barnes and Derek Lee also scored for Wisconsin (12-10-2, 7-9-2).
Justin Schultz and Mark Zengerle had two assists apiece and goalie Joel Rumpel had 25 stops.
Austin Coldwell had the first goal for the Seawolves (6-14-2, 3-14-1) and Curtis Leinweber tied the game 2-2 late early in the second period.
Chris Kamal had 26 saves for UAA.
The Badgers won 4-0 on Friday.
