MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Tyler Barnes scored on a power play with 3:11 left as Wisconsin rallied to earn a 1-1 tie with Michigan Tech on Friday in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association.
Sophomore Blake Pietila scored the game's only other goal midway through the third period for The Huskies (4-7-2, 3-6-2).
Goalie Kevin Genoe made 30 saves for the Huskies, including four in overtime.
Landon Peterson made three of his 30 saves in overtime for Wisconsin (2-7-4, 2-5-4). Both teams had 31 shots on goal.
The tie helps Michigan Tech snap a seven-game losing streak on the Badgers' home ice. Michigan Tech improved to 5-1-0 when scoring first.
