The Big Foot-Walworth Chiefs took another huge step in their undefeated season with a 52-17 win over Lakeside Lutheran Friday night.
The Chiefs were on a roll early behind running back Mason Dixon. Dixon crossed the goal line on the second play from scrimmage with a 70 yard touchdown run. Dixon finished the night with 3 total touchdowns and 201 yards rushing.
After a Stuart Vanden Heuvel field goal, Lakeside Lutheran took their only lead of the game at the end of the first quarter with a Ryan Broedlow touchdown run to give the Warriors a 10-6 lead.
Big Foot-Walworth responded with 46 unanswered points, 27 of which were scored in the second quarter alone.
The Chiefs will take on Freedom in the WIAA State Semifinals next week.
