Deerfield Keeps Hot Streak Going

The Deerfield Demons have been on fire this season, and kept the hot streak going Friday night against Montello/Princeton/Green Lake with a 42-6 win.

Brandon Erhke put Deerfield on the board early in the 1st quarter, finding Nick Jensen 23 yards downfield for a touchdown to put the Demons up 7-0.

The Phoenix would rise to the occassion on their next possession, highlighted by Phoenix quarterback Noah Polcyn's 21-yard TD strike. After a failed extra-point opportunity, Deerfield still lead 7-6.
