Iowa-Grant shut down Fennimore from start to finish on homecoming Friday night with a 42-21 win.

The Panthers took a 15-8 lead at the half, and added to their lead in the 3rd quarter.

The Golden Eagles were moving their way into Iowa-Grant territory on their first drive of the second half, but Cody Rider slammed the brakes on the drive. The Panthers' linebacker intercepted Fennimore quarterback Zach Adkins, and returned it to the 3-yard line.

Rider would ride the wave of success on the next drive, pounding in a short yardage rushing touchdown to put Iowa-Grant up 21-8.

The Panthers close out the regular season at Riverdale next week, while Fennimore hosts Darlington.
