After three straight losses, Madison Memorial got back to their winning ways against Janesville Craig Friday night with a 44-21 win.
The Cougars stormed out of the gate with an 8-minute opening drive, capped off with by a Michael Whittaker 1-yard touchdown.
Down 7-0 in the second quarter, the Spartan offense would respond.
Quarterback Joe Ferguson lead Memorial into the red-zone, and finished the drive with a 4-yard option keeper to tie the game up at 7-7.
The Spartans would outscore the Cougars 37-7 down the stretch for their first win in September.
