LaFollette needed a win to get into the playoffs against Middleton, but the Cardinals snapped their 3-game losing streak with a 35-19 win over the Lancers.

Middleton went up by two touchdowns to start off the game, but would LaFollette strike back. Quarterback Troy Tiegen found Jermaine Richmond on a bubble screen for a 30 yard touchdown score to cut the lead 14-6.

LaFollette would score again right before the end of the first quarter,
as Teigen ran in a quarterback keeper to bring the Lancers within one, 14-13.

Two minutes before the half, the Cardinals would find paydirt on a Luke Schafer quarterback sneak to put Middleton up 21-13.
