Mount Horeb/Barneveld came to play against McFarland in their level 2 playoff game, beating the the Spartans 49-13.

The Vikings put up 42 first half points to lead 42-0 at halftime. As a result, McFarland coud not overcome the deficit and a second half running clock.

McFarland scored on its opening possession of the second half as Chris Wedel hit Brandon Doll for a 19 yard touchdown to cut the deficit down to 42-7 but it was too little too late, Vikings win big 49-13.

Mount Horeb/Barneveld will play Monona Grove in level 3 next week.
