Waunakee had to battle thru a tough first half, including three turnovers but put up 28 second half points to beat Wilmot 28-7.
Wilmot would start fast with a Noah Strasser touchdown pass to Zach Dodge to make it 7-0 Panthers.
It remained that score until the first Warrior's first possession of the second half when Will Decorah scored on a quarterback sneak to tie the game at 7 all.
Wilmot would miss a long field goal and Waunakee would answer on a Decorah touchdown pass to Willie Freimuth to give the Warriors a 14-7 lead.
Troy Laufenberg scored on a 20 yard touchdown run to give the home team a 21-7 lead. Waunakee scored another touchdown late to beat Wilmot 28-7.
The Warriors have won 45 straight games and will play DeForest next weekend in level two of the playoffs.
