MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- One of the nation's top high school punters who verbally committed to the University of Minnesota has changed his mind and plans to join the Wisconsin Badgers.
Brad Nortman committed to the Gophers in June after attending their summer camp.
Later he got a scholarship offer from Wisconsin. Nortman attends Brookfield Central and says he changed his plans to be closer to family and friends.
And Nortman says he's been a Badgers fan his whole life.
