The Green Bay Packers control the NFC North going into its bye week.
But, coach Mike McCarthy says there's still a lot to work on in the coming weeks.
McCarthy says the Packers are a football team that's just getting started and there are a number of areas that need improvement.
McCarthy says the bye comes at a good time -- all his players are in need of rest before a stretch that includes road games at Denver and Kansas City.
Quarterback Brett Favre was limping noticeably as he walked to the interview podium after the game.
McCarthy says they'll hold a couple of extra practice days for Denver and concentrate on the fundamentals.
