Wednesday Wisconsin Sports UPDATE

Here is the latest Wisconsin sports from The AP

GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) -- Brett Favre's playful challenge was direct. When he was asked if he'd lost the zip on his passes, he challenged the reporter to catch a couple from him later and then make his own decision. It was the first time Favre talked since the Packers beat Washington 17-14 in their last game. Favre had his worst game of the season so far, going 19-of-37 for 188 yards with two interceptions.

DENVER (AP) -- Allen Iverson had 21 points and Carmelo Anthony added 18 as the Denver Nuggets beat the Milwaukee Bucks 114-102 in an exhibition game in Denver last night. The Nuggets outshot the Bucks 52 percent to just 26 percent in the first quarter to build a 15-point lead. Frustration had clearly set in for the Bucks by the third quarter when the team wound up getting called for four technical fouls.

WAUWATOSA, Wis. (AP) -- Derek Eoff, who works for the United States Bowling Congress, took the lead after the first day of qualifying for his employer's premiere tournament, the USBC Masters. The Milwaukee bowler had a five-game total of 1,252 last night for a 250.4 average at AMF Bowlero. His individual games were 236, 266, 279, 234 and 237. Finals are Sunday.
