Buckeyes show why they're #1 vs. Badgers

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) -- Chris Wells ran for three second-half scores to help top-ranked Ohio State overcome a third-quarter deficit and beat Wisconsin 38-17.

Wells finished with 169 yards on 21 carries

The victory boosts the Buckeyes to 10-and-0 and ends the Badgers' three-game winning streak at Ohio Stadium, dating to 1999. At 6-and-0 in the Big 10, Ohio State remains on track for another title showdown with Michigan, two weekends from now at The Big House in Ann Arbor. The only potential stumbling block is next week's outing against visiting Illinois.

Wisconsin is now 7-and-3 overall and 3-and-3 in conference play.
