Favre Can't Shake Concerns

Posted Sunday --- November 25, 2007

Yes, the Packers are 10-and-1, far exceeding the wildest of expectations for this season. But Favre still can't shake his nagging concern that the Packers' young players are too loose and carefree considering what's at stake. He says they also might be headed for a fall.

Those words came Sunday, after the Packers turned in a not-so-sharp practice, only 4 days away from what promises to be their toughest game of the season at Dallas Thursday night.

Favre says he worries each week that the team's complacency will creep back on it.

The Packers were missing some key players Sunday because of injuries, one possible explanation for what Favre deemed a sub par effort. But Favre also sensed a hint of a hangover from their 37-26 Thanksgiving Day victory at Detroit.

I know I am looking forward to this game. I am glad of Directv and will be able to watch it. Although, I am confident that the Cowboys will win, I am biting my nails thinking that the pack could easily prevail. Both are teams filled with youth. I guess we have to see what happens this Thursday.

I'm heading to the bar for the game. I figured it out, I spend about $25 for each BTN or NFLN game. I think it would be less expensive to just get dish. 20 badger BB games plus FB next year? argh!!!!
