Thursday Wisconsin Sports UPDATE

Here is the latest Wisconsin sports from The AP

DALLAS (AP) -- Here's something to remember heading into tonight's big NFL game in Dallas. Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre has lost all eight of the games he's played at Texas Stadium back in the 1990s. So he's out to end that jinx and give the Packers an advantage in the battle for homefield advantage in the postseason.

ATLANTA (AP) -- Josh Childress scored six points in a 13-2 run midway through the final quarter and the Atlanta Hawks broke open a close game to take a rare 96-80 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks in Atlanta last night. Joe Johnson led six players in double figures with 21 points and Atlanta won only for the fourth time in its last 13 games against Milwaukee.

ATLANTA (AP) -- The Bucks will try to get back on the winning track against the Knicks in New York tomorrow night. Milwaukee has slipped to a 7-6 record and third place in the Central Division with consecutive losses after a five-game winning streak.
