Tennessee has accepted a bid to play Wisconsin in the Outback Bowl at Tampa on New Year's Day.
The bid came a day after the Vols lost to LSU 21-14 in the SEC championship game. The 16th-ranked Vols will be 9-and-4 heading into their bowl-game match-up against #18 Wisconsin, which is 9-3.
Tennessee also appeared in last year's Outback Bowl, falling to unranked Penn State 20-10.
The Badgers and Volunteers only previous meeting came in the 1981 Garden State Bowl when Tennessee beat UW, 28-21.
