Tuesday Wisconsin Sports UPDATE

Here is the latest Wisconsin sports from The AP

NEW YORK (AP) -- Chalk up another honor for Packers quarterback Brett Favre. With his standout season this year he's been named Sports Illustrated Sportsman of the Year. It goes to an athlete who symbolizes the ideals of sportsmanship.

GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) -- Mark Murphy is a lawyer, college athletic director and former All-Pro safety with the Washington Redskins. And now he has a new title -- president and chief executive officer of the Green Bay Packers. The team's board of directors unanimously approved the selection of the 52-year-old Murphy to succeed longtime president Bob Harlan. Murphy says the organization obviously is operating at a high level on the field and doing well financially, but there's no time to sit back and relax.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Jason Bohannon scored 14 points and Joe Krabbenhoft added 12 as Wisconsin cruised to a 70-43 men's college basketball victory over Wofford in Madison last night. Marcus Landry added 11 points and nine rebounds for Wisconsin. The Badgers dominated the Terriers in all phases after getting off to a slow start.

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Not long ago the Milwaukee Bucks were riding high with a five-game winning streak. Now they've lost their last four as they face the Clippers tonight in Los Angeles.

But the Clippers are in the same boat. They've got a five-game losing streak going.
