Here is the latest Wisconsin sports from The AP
MILWAUKEE (AP) -- A frustrated Trevon Hughes couldn't keep Wisconsin from seeing its 28-game home winning streak go up in smoke. Hughes called his play in last weekend's game with Marquette a joke, even though he scored 16 points in the 81-76 loss to the Golden Eagles, who were ranked 11th in the nation and now are 10th. Wisconsin coach Bo Ryan says he won't know how Hughes and the rest of the Badgers will respond until they play again. And that happens tonight, when they take on the Wisconsin-Milwaukee Panthers in downtown Milwaukee.
GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) -- Defensive tackle Johnny Jolly, who started in seven of Green Bay's first 10 games, will miss the rest of the season after being placed on injured reserve. Jolly, a sixth-round draft pick in 2006, hurt his shoulder in a victory over Carolina November 18th.
GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) -- Packers linebacker Nick Barnett has pleaded not guilty to two charges of disorderly conduct stemming from a confrontation outside a nightclub. Barnett was arrested early June 17th outside an Appleton nightspot after a woman accused him of pushing her during an argument.
MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Jolene Anderson scored 20 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead Wisconsin to an 81-58 women's college basketball victory over Wisconsin-Green Bay last night in Madison.
